Romanticise your life - Love Yourself First
One thing about life is that more often than we think, we are able to curate exactly what we want by how we react to things and the choices we make. There are things you can do for yourself to cultivate a life full of beautiful moments, whimsical and romantic. We often fall into a routine of "Work, Eat, Sleep....Repeat" and we let life happen to us instead of living life.
So here's a few things you can do to bring romance into your life....
Have a relaxation routine
At least once a week take a bath with bath salts, a bath bomb or anything that you love. Dim the lights or light a scented candle and engage all your senses. Read a book or listen to a podcast tune your mind out and relax.

Tip : If you don't have a bath tab put the bath bomb and/or salts at the corner of your bathroom and let it dissolve. It is still just as amazing.
Create an incredible meal
I know I am not the only one who is happy when I eat. Involve yourself through the whole process every now and then. Go to the grocery store and buy all the ingredients, tap into your artistic side, have a little fun with your food and embrace the pleasure of a well prepared meal by yourself. It is an act of self love.

Tip : You can find easy recipes on Youtube and Pinterest.
Embrace your body
To fully romanticise your life, you need to embrace the parts of you that make you, YOU. Speak love over yourself... love every curve, your thighs, your belly, your arms and every little thing and works together to make you. Be thankful always.
Now part of embracing your body is having a healthy lifestyle and taking care of your body.
Be patient with yourself
Speak life to yourself and appreciate what you already have at the moment. Live life in the moment. Look back to where you were a year ago, or even 5 years ago and reflect on how far you come. Be thankful always.
And finally....
Try new Hobbies
Hobbies are regularly done in your free time for joy and to pass time. Having an intention attached to your hobby will help you in romanticising your life. There are three types of hobbies you generally should have:
1. One to keep you creative such as journaling, crotchet or DIY crafts
2. One to keep you fit which can be playing a sport, dancing or even cycling

3. One to help you make money.... So in your free time you can do some thing that you love and bring in some extra money
Romanticising your life is a fancy way of saying take the mundane daily tasks and turn it into something wonderful. Something beautiful. Something romantic.
